Datacomb is committed to giving back to the communities and industries in which it operates. As an action-orientated company, Datacomb feels that it is not enough to just give funds to worthwhile causes and regularly gets involved in a variety of projects.
The components of Datacomb's support covers:
1. Educational Support - in the provision of a school bursary for a learner from a farming area for the past two years, as well as paying for a UNISA short course for a prisoner. Datacomb also regularly provides school guidance and mentoring to learners.
2. Micro Enterprise Support - the company has also offered its skills, facilitating strategies and attending board meetings, to a non-profit organisation.
3. Poverty Alleviation - mainly in farming compound communities through soup kitchens, distributing groceries to those in need and providing clothing to farm children happens throughout the year. Ministry work is also carried out through Family Care Ministries.
